2017 PBCDA Summer’s End Party
Notice: Due the arrival of Hurricane Irma and the effects this tropical storm has left in its wake, we know this is may be a difficult time for those affected and our thoughts go out to you.
Due to this, we have changed the dates of our 2017 Summer's End Party and fundraiser (originally scheduled for Sept 16, 2017) to instead take place this coming October 7th, as it will hopefully provide a better opportunity for everyone to forget about their troubles and have a good time with friends.
The Palm Beach County Dive Association (PBCDA) Summer’s End Party is more than an opportunity for fellow avid divers in the community to get together, it’s an annual fundraiser to help provide something new to the area; the placement of a new artificial reef.
As part of the celebration marking the anniversary for the Danny McCauley Memorial Reef (Danny Wreck) sunk four years ago, and the M/V Ana Cecilia last year, the PBCDA has been hard at work raising more funds to add a new member to the large roster of exciting wrecks to dive in Palm Beach County waters. And Palm Beach County’s Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is working closely with us to make that happen; because we know how many of you get exited about diving a new shipwreck made to reef.
This year, the PBCDA has changed the location for the Summer’s End Party to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach off Hwy 1. Party starts 6:00 pm, ending sometime around 8:30 pm.
In addition Summer's end Party Entry Tickets can be purchased ahead of time from all participating members of the Palm Beach County Dive Association, you also have the option of purchasing them on-line here. Note: When purchasing your tickets on-line via PBCDA’s PayPal account, your receipt becomes your ticket, which you will need to print it out for the party.
A long with the Entry Ticket, participants can purchase as many raffle tickets as they like as they.
All the proceeds collected from raffle ticket sales go directly to the PBCDA’s Artificial Reef Fund.
Along with contributing to the next artificial reef in Palm Beach, Florida, you will be meeting with friends and fellow divers, eat, drink, dance, as well as the possibility of wining a great prize or two. How good is that?
